How Do JUVÉDERM Volux XC Injections Work?
Once you've had a consultation with Dr. Jean Keamy or a staff member, your Volux XC procedure may be planned for another day or performed that day based on schedule availability. In a private room, you will sit and relax as your face is cleansed before the Volux XC injections. The injector may also apply a numbing cream to help make the procedure more comfortable if desired. For precision, your injector will mark your face before administering the injections with a fine needle. Once the filler has been injected into your skin, you may experience mild redness and swelling, but this should subside on its own. Following your treatment, you may continue your daily routine; however, strenuous activity like exercise should be avoided for at least a day. You should be careful not to touch your jawline after your JUVÉDERM injections to prevent massaging the gel into unwanted areas.
