As we age, the natural structure of the face begins to diminish, leading to deeper folds, volume loss, and skin that no longer feels as firm or lifted as it once did. Radiesse® offers a unique filler solution by not only restoring volume immediately but also stimulating your body’s own collagen for long-term rejuvenation. This calcium-based filler is ideal for sculpting the jawline, softening deeper wrinkles, and improving overall skin firmness. At Keamy Cosmetic, Radiesse is expertly administered to create natural, refined, and enduring results.

What Is RADIESSE?
RADIESSE® Volumizing Filler is a synthetic injectable filler that has been FDA-approved to reduce moderate to severe wrinkles, folds and creases around the nose and mouth by augmenting the skin’s natural collagen supply.
It is a safe, effective, and long-lasting alternative to injectable collagen and other dermal fillers for not only smoothing wrinkles but also adding volume and contour to the face for an overall younger, fuller, smoother appearance. With just one or two RADIESSE treatments, you can enjoy a beautiful, natural look that lasts.
What Are the Benefits of RADIESSE?
You might be interested in minimizing the signs of aging but not the upkeep of some different filler treatments. For individuals keen on longer-lasting injectable options, RADIESSE can be an exceptional aesthetic solution, providing advantages such as:
- Soft and natural-looking outcomes
- Enhancements you may benefit from for a year or longer
- Softening creases and folds
- Boosting your self-image
Am I A Candidate for RADIESSE?
Adults in good health and concerned about mild to moderate facial lines and wrinkles are great candidates for Radiesse injectable treatments. It can treat marionette lines, smile lines, pre-jowl folds, chin wrinkles, and lines on the edges of the lips. Radiesse is also safe to treat age-related volume loss in the hands to help them appear softer and younger-looking. You shouldn’t receive this treatment if you are allergic to lidocaine or other ingredients in Radiesse. Be sure to tell Keamy Eye & Laser Centre about any allergies (whether mild or severe) and any medical disorders or conditions. If you are breastfeeding, pregnant, may be pregnant, or are considering pregnancy in the next one to two years, you shouldn’t use Radiesse treatments.
How Is A RADIESSE Procedure Performed?
At your RADIESSE treatment, your doctor will clean the treatment area and administer a series of quick injections with a fine needle. Treatments typically take 15 minutes and require only local anesthetic. There is little to no downtime; many patients return to their normal activities after their appointment.
Patients typically need only one or two treatments to achieve the full effect of RADIESSE. Your doctor may recommend a follow-up appointment to determine whether you would benefit from additional treatments.
What Ingredients Make Up RADIESSE?
RADIESSE filler is composed of microspheres in a water-based gel. The microspheres – made of a substance called calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) – stimulate the production of collagen to smooth lines and wrinkles as well as add younger-looking suppleness to the face. RADIESSE is made from minerals similar to what makes up our bones. There is no need for pre-treatment allergy testing, and it is absorbed naturally by the body over time.
What Areas Can Be Treated with RADIESSE?
RADIESSE filler can be used on many areas of the face and body. Numerous studies have shown RADIESSE filler to be especially effective for filling and correcting smile lines, nasolabial folds (lines from the nose to the corners of the mouth), marionette lines (from the corners of the mouth to the chin), and other lines and wrinkles around the nose and mouth. It can also be used to treat depressed scars and oral commissures.
RADIESSE filler has also been approved by the FDA to restore and correct the signs of lipoatrophy (loss of fat beneath the skin) in patients with HIV.
What Should I Expect after RADIESSE?
Side effects are minimal and should fade within a few days. These include:
- Mild irritation
- Itching
- Swelling
- Discoloration or tenderness at the injection site
What Type of Results Can I Expect from RADIESSE?
Results are visible immediately after the injection and can last for up to a year or more. Touch-up treatments can prolong RADIESSE’s effects. Studies have shown that patients require fewer re-treatments with RADIESSE than with other leading dermal fillers.
